On Saturday November 9th, the World March for Peace and Nonviolence passed through Trieste, a city 25 km from Duino. Under the leadership of Dylan Mott, a student from the USA, the College made the most of the opportunity. The students joined local organizers and citizens in this demonstration to promote peace. A group of 15 College students participated in a run from a nearby town to the central square in Trieste, Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, where a larger group waited with the flags of our diverse nationalities. That evening the College choir performed along with local choirs in a concert promoting the World March for Peace. The day was a big success.
