Puglia Project Week started on Saturday the 20th of February and ended on 27th of February 2010. During the week, the group formed by eleven people

was mainly focused on giving presentations in different cities of Puglia such as Bari, Lecce, Terlizzi, Putignano etc. The main goal of these presentations was the advertisement of UWC’s movement around this area and they were usually held in common school auditoriums, however there were some schools where presentations were given from class to class. Moreover, the Puglia group also did social services such as helping serve food in a poor people’s canteen twice during the week and playing games with children from a social center and giving a show for them. All the eleven students where organised in two groups. One group stayed in Terlizzi with Paolo (one of the two organizers) and the other group stayed in host families including the family of Andrea, the other organizer. The fun part of the Project Week in

Puglia was also the cultural visits such as the

one in Lecce or Alberobello where we walked around and were shown the historical, most beautiful parts of the cities, respectively including the Barocco peculiar from Lecce and the Trulli, old conic stone-made buildings.
