As President of UWC Adriatic, I wish to report on the further steps taken for the appointment of a successor to Peter Howe.
On September the 14th the Search Committee met for the third time.
The following were present at the meeting:
Amb. Gianfranco Facco Bonetti,Dott.ssa Patrizia Pavatti, Prof. Derek Blackman, Prof.Henry Thomas, Dott.ssa Valentina Bach.
Mr. Alexander Acland, Principal of the Heidrick & Struggles Office in London, was invited to participate in the meeting.
After a throughout discussion, the Committee decided to engage Heidrick & Struggles to assist in the search for the new Rettore.
The Committee handed to Mr. Acland its proposed candidate profile for the position of Rettore and the results of the initial on line consultation with teachers, administrative staff, students and a first group of alumni.
The following time table for the search process was agreed:
Friday 30th September --> Advertisements Published
October December --> Search
January 2012 --> First round of interviews
February (indicatively 7th-8th) --> Final interviews in Duino
