Easy connections by plane, rail and the European motorway network
By car:
Duino is very well connected to the Italian motorway system. If arriving from Milan, Venice or Udine follow the A4 motorway towards Trieste, and take the Duino exit. If arriving from Slovenia follow the A4 motorway in the direction of Venezia, take the Sistiana exit, then follow the indications to Duino.
By train:
The nearest train station is at Monfalcone (main railway line Milano/Venezia/Udine-Trieste). There are frequent trains connecting Venice to Monfalcone (1 hour 20 minutes). Upon arrival in Monfalcone take a taxi to Duino (5 km drive) or bus no. 51.
By airplane:
-Trieste Ronchi dei Legionari Airport
The nearest airport is Trieste International Airport (Ronchi dei Legionari), only 20 minutes drive from Duino and served by bus no. 51 or taxi.
- Venice Marco Polo Airport
Venice airport is about 2 hours from the College. Upon arrival at Venice airport, take a bus to Mestre railway station and take the train to Monfalcone (see above).
- Ljubljana Airport
Ljubljiana is also an alternative but there are no direct public transport connections. It is about 1 hour 30 minutes by car from Duino.
