The 2014 UWC Adriatic Reunion will take place from Friday, 4 July through Sunday, 6 July 2014.
We wish this to be a special event as we are honouring
the 30th graduation anniversary of our first "pioneer" generation of students 1982-1984.
They will be joined by the 1987-89, 1992-94, 1997-99 and 2002-04 generations.
Of course, all alumni are welcome to attend, even if it's not your year. We'd love to see you!

There is still time to add new activities : please send your suggestions to Colin Thompson:
++++ NEW - Gala Dinner ++++
This year, to celebrate the 30th graduation anniversary of our first generation, we are organising a Gala Dinner on Fore Lawn on Saturday, 5 July 2014 as the Official Reunion Dinner. The evening will include some surprises and external guests. Semi-formal attire is preferred. Children up to 12 years old will have their own dinner as part of the "UWC experience for kids".
Family and "UWC Experience for kids" (up to 12 years old)
We welcome and encourage you to bring your family too. Though there will certainly be a fair amount of stories of old times, there are also plenty of opportunities to show off your "old stomping grounds". To facilitate this, we will provide a "UWC Experience for kids", up to 12 years old, on Friday (3pm - 7:30pm / 9pm - 11.30pm) and on Saturday (9am - 1pm / 5pm - 11.30pm). Childcare will include mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks and a Pizza Party (or similar) on Saturday evening, instead of the Gala Dinner.
We have housing for approximately 190 people in our residences. The cost is 20€ per person B&B (both adults and children) per night. Accommodation will be assigned on a first come first served basis. It is possible to arrive on Wednesday 2nd and stay overnight on Sunday 6th too (rooms to be vacated by Monday 10.00 am). If you have already made a preliminary request for College accommodation, please re-confirm this in your online registration. If you would like to share your room with your family, or if there is a person with whom you would like to be paired during your visit, please indicate this too.
Please bring your own baby cot if your child requires one and indicate this in your registration form. There is no charge for using your cot in College accomodation.
Due to Health Regulations, breakfast is now served in Mensa (Foresteria Building). Guests are welcome to store their own food in the residence fridges but we cannot take any responsibility for these items.
If you prefer alternative accommodation, we suggest you make your arrangements as early as possible as July is high tourist season in Duino. All other accommodation should be arranged directly with the local hotels, B&Bs and paid directly.
Your registration fee includes all food and beverages (from Friday dinner to Sunday brunch). Fees are :
- Early bird registration through 4 June 2014: €130 for adults and children 13 and over; €60 for children aged 4 to 12
- Registration after 4 June 2014: €150 for adults and children 13 and over; €75 for children aged 4 to 12
- Children aged 3 or under : free of charge
- FULL REFUNDS will be issued for cancellations anytime before 4 June 2014
- A 50 PERCENT REFUND will be issued for cancellations made between 5 - 26 June 2014
- REFUNDS WILL NOT be available after 26 June 2014. No-shows WILL NOT receive a refund.
UWC Adriatic does not aim to draw revenue from reunion fees. Fees collected go to offset the cost of the reunion (board and lodging, staff, etc..)

THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY REUNION GIFT
Alumni giving is becoming increasingly important, not just in direct support of the College but also as a testimony to demonstrate to other potential donors how much our alumni appreciate the value of the two year spent in Duino.
As has now become the custom, the annual reunion will be accompanied by a Reunion Gift campaign and all alumni from the reunion generations will be invited to join in. We hope you will participate, even if you will not be attending the event.
