Art at the College

IB art students, under the expert guidance of art teacher Lorella Veglia, held an exhibition at the College to share the artwork they have worked on for the past two years in view of the IB exam.

The works made by UWC Adriatic art students were on display on two distinct occasions this year: at the College in the IB exhibition and in the nearby resort Portopiccolo, in Sistiana, during the event “Portopiccolo in Fiore”.

The IB Art Exhibition was inaugurated on March 31st and it remained open for a week, with students available for guided tours on several occasions. The inauguration was attended by several visitors from outside the College, among whom Lucia Lalovich from the association AJSER 2000, an art events organiser who invited College art students to exhibit their works on Sunday April 30th in a big event at the Portopiccolo resort.

The second year students involved who exhibited their works in view of the IB exam are:
MARINA SOLA ALONSO (Spain), AYOMIDE FALAE (Nigeria), IDA FISKER (Denmark), JAD JABAREEN (Palestine), LUISA HEINDL (Belgium), LENA KAISER (Austria), LINXI LIU-ECKLE (Belgium), ZOE PACE (Italy), NICOLE PAGNUT (Italy), GIORGIA PALIAGA MILLS (Italy), JULIANA REOLON PEREIRA (Brasil), NINA TRIVEDI (India) and WAN YEE YIM (Hong Kong).
