The Scholarship Fund is the main driving force to ensure the uniqueness of the United World Colleges by allowing UWC Adriatic to maintain its diversity through the crucial support of our donors. Your donations to this fund will help us continue to bring students from all over the world to Duino.
In 2018-19 eighty-five scholarships were awarded in Duino thanks to the Scholarship Fund, forty of which were provided by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, while seven students (from Jordan, Kenya, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Swaziland), were provided for thanks to the sum of many small individual donations by alumni and friends of the college.
Thanks to the Scholarship Fund in August 2019 22 new students arrived in Duino from Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Canada, Congo, Egypt, Estonia, United Arab Emirates, Ghana, United Kingdom, India, Istria, Kosovo, Malawi, Mexico, Montenegro, Palestine, Domenican Republic, Serbia, Syria e Tunisia.
