Ibrahim thanks Never Alone for his two years at our college in a video
Almost a year ago we shared the story of our student Ibrahim Kondeh, who had earned a full scholarship at UWC Adriatic supported by Never Alone. Since that time the world has had to face the coronavirus pandemic, which has changed so many of our habits and inevitably has also impacted on the daily life of our community. Our college is nevertheless proud to have succeeded in resuming its academic activity in August 2020 and to have maintained in presence classes ever since. We are also extremely proud that the IBO (International Baccalaureate Organisation), has acknowledged this and will allow us to administer the IB examinations to our students next May.
Ibrahim and his fellow students will therefore be able to sit their exams and conclude their two years at UWC Adriatic without any further disruptions. These two years have been far from easy for Ibrahim, but he can be proud of how far he’s come. His kindness, his resilience and his positive attitude are acknowledged by all his teachers, while the support he has received from his co-years has helped him through difficult times. Despite the difficult experiences he has had to face, Ibrahim knows he has much to be thankful for. In the following video he shares his story and thanks Never Alone for a scholarship that has changed his life and opened up new possibilities for his future.
