On May 17 our teacher Pablo Martinez and a group of his first-year students took part in the online event Trieste Bookfest 2021 to speak about literature and freedom. Each student shared a literary work from their home country, providing multiple cultural perspectives on this common theme: Takehiro Kawasaki (Japan), Julia Chow (Hong Kong), Katarina Floeur (Romania), Daniel Kemeny (Hungary), Caspar David (The Netherlands), Valentina Dereani and Johanna Kerschbaumer (both from Italy).
