The project set out to collaborate with those associations needing support in order to be able to adopt digital instruments and processes, and to encourage the participation of young people in our region – especially in the 14-19 age group – as digital volunteers, so as to become agents of positive change in society despite the constraints imposed by the health emergency.
The promotion of technological innovation in the Third Sector was aimed at preventing any future emergencies from creating new restrictions and the ensuing isolation of the recipients of volunteering services as well as that of young people in general. After a year of the COVID-19 pandemic and the consequent isolation of an important segment of the population, “networking” has become the most important buzz word, in order to offer new possibilities for people to come together remotely.
