In 2021 projects had been confined to Duino, while this year students were able to travel around the region Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Project Week 2022 was much more akin to what our students experienced before the pandemic. In 2021 projects had been confined to Duino, while this year students were able to travel around the region Friuli Venezia Giulia. Keen to explore different areas and make meaningful experiences our students came up with projects that ranged from climbing, hiking, monitoring marine data in the natural reserve near the castle of Miramare and organising book festivals and female art exhibitions to tracing the steps of Friulian women who made a significant contribution to the WWI effort and even participating in a feature film directed by a UWC Adriatic alum.
