The President of the College commented on what the Pope Francis said about the importance of providing material assistance whilst aiming at «emancipating people, making them active players in their own development, cultivating of their abilities and talents – both at individual and community levels – according to sound ethical principles».
«Indeed» noted Ambassador Ravaglia «this is all perfectly represented in the values of the UWC educational model, in the mission of our College and in our daily endeavours. The meeting with Pope Francis is an inspiring gift from Assifero we are all grateful for».
