Last Sunday, UWC Adriatic held its final concert of the academic year at the Teatro Comunale in Monfalcone. The One World Concert brought together students and staff for an unforgettable evening of music, dance, poetry, and cultural celebration.
From Mozart to Michael Jackson, from South Asian and African dance to K-pop and jazz, the concert showcased the extraordinary range of talent and creativity that thrives at UWC Adriatic. Performances included a powerful oud and piano duet, classical piano with orchestra, original poetry recitations, a dynamic jazz piece highlighted by a standout saxophone lead, and crowd favourites like Summer Nights from Grease and Coldplay’s Viva La Vida.
With more than 80 student performers hailing from all corners of the globe, the international diversity on stage enriched every performance, infusing each act with unique perspectives, traditions, and styles that truly reflected the spirit of our global community.
We were honoured to open the evening with speeches from our Rettore, Dr. Khalid El Metaal, and the President of the College, Roberto Antonione. The event was guided by the musical direction of Christoph Genz, Director of Performing Arts. Our student MCs, Arissa and Elisa, led the evening with energy, warmth and humour.

We are grateful to the Comune di Monfalcone for generously hosting us in their beautiful theatre and to our vibrant audience, whose presence and enthusiasm made the evening truly special.
