While the honour of being the first-ever generation belongs to our secondi, the generation 1983-85 can rightly claim to be the first generation who were in Duino for both of their two years. We quite literally doubled the size of the College and together with the ‘Hotel Europa’ Generation we breathed life into all the places that became central to the Duino experience– Foresteria, Motel Agip, Villa Susy, Lucchese. Dama Bianca, to name just a few.
We are committing to raise €166,667 over three years (€55,556 each year) to create a ‘forever’ scholarship, one that will be offered in the name of the first Pioneer Generations to students every year attending Duino.
