Whistleblowing is the act of reporting by an individual who, within the public or private work context, becomes aware of violations of national or European Union regulations that harm the public interest or the integrity of the public administration or private entity. Legislative Decree 24/2023 requires that entities in the public and private sectors establish their own reporting channels that ensure the confidentiality of the identity of the reporting person, of the person(s) involved, and of any person mentioned in the report, as well as the content of the report and the related documentation. The adopted application solution fully complies with the provisions regarding whistleblowing.
