Seven students have dedicated their project week to a local contemporary art museum
A group of UWC Adriatic students has dedicated their Project Week to creating a website in Italian, Slovenian and English for the Ugo Carà Contemporary art Museum in Muggia. The project aimed at enriching visitors’ experience, increasing the museum’s online presence and presenting its versatile exhibition rooms to contemporary artists.
The students involved were Alvaro (from the Philippines), Tim (Finland), Teo (Croatia), Niso (Italy), Eisvinas (Lithuania), Viktor (Slovakia) and Tin (Vietnam), and they were supervised by Massimo Premuda from the Culture Department of the Municipality of Muggia.
The inspiration for the project came to our students when some of them visited Tuscany over a long weekend and discovered that besides the great museums that all tourists are familiar with there are many smaller ones that have great artistic and cultural value but that few people are aware of.
