Activities in English with Children introduces songs, dances and games in English for young children in Duino and its surrounding areas. Through interactive and fun activities that encourage movement and participation, we aim to make language learning enjoyable and memorable.

• Open to kindergarten school children!
• Visit the Duino Kindergarten every Tuesday from 14:30 to 15:30.

Art with Children aims to create connections between Italian and Slovenian children in Duino who may not otherwise have the opportunity to interact through engaging activities centered around art. The activity is in partnership with local primary schools and in collaboration with the municipality of Duino-Aurisina.

• Open to all primary school-aged children!
• Visit the Art Center, UWC Adriatic in Duino on Tuesday from 15:00 to 16:00 (twice a month).

English with Children seeks to bring together Italian and Slovenian children of Duino, fostering personal relationships between them. Through fun activities, we teach English to children aged 8-10. Lessons include songs, grammar exercises, and various interactive elements to make language learning enjoyable and effective.

• In the Auditorium, UWC Adriatic in Duino, every Tuesday from 16:30 to 17:30.

English Club with Adults is a weekly evening course designed for local adults who wish to improve their English language skills. The course offers easy conversation practice, often based on short articles, along with basic grammar exercises. We aim to run two or possibly three parallel courses at different levels: Basic (for beginners), Intermediate, and Advanced.

Esperienza Carsolina offers interactive, and fun activities entirely in English for children from local schools. The program focuses on exploring the Carso plateau (as well as the sea), its rich biodiversity, and the importance of bees in the ecosystem. Activities include collaborating with local farmers and engaging in practical farm work, conservation efforts, and small-scale landscape management projects.

Science for Society focuses on teaching interesting facts about science, including Earth science and chemistry, to children. Activities also include a combination of art and science activities, allowing children to learn about scientific concepts interactively and creatively.
